Concert Nr. 5 - new Concert Nr. 6 Chopin

After the touching music - that was like silence, healing music on original instruments from Haydn's times,

this time we will hear Chopin - and only Chopin : Jacques Bernier, who was here also last year, will seduce us with his wonderful interpretations of the great composer. This way we would like to celebrate with the rest of the world 2010 as Chopin's year ( for the 200th anniversary of the composer's birth). 

What pleases me particularly is that we will have the unique opportunity to hear in this small concert space the famous Chopin Piano Concert Nr. 1, one of the most famous piano concerts of music history.

We will not play with an orchestra, but in the String Quartet version.

Our third Concert is over: the sweet guitar music conjured up romantic dreams in the wonderful atmosphere of the Sonnenlink theater and its silent surroundings....

Afterwards, Kostantis - in the concert playing the saz - plays the violin.

Out of his rich treasure of traditional Greek violin music he magnetizes all of us. Dancing, singing, „glendi“ (means in greek: party).

Music Festival Sonnenlink starts NOW!

The International Music Festival will start on Saturday, 26/06/2010, at 20:00. Artist for the first concert will be Maria Garzon - playing piano recital with works by L. v. Beethoven, W. A. Mozart, F. Chopin and L. Dussek.

               

Followed by another 9 concerts, with music as diverse as the nationalities of the musicians, composers and visitors. 

"Garden of Eden - Summer Academy“ in Sonnenhaus ;-) 

This time we will not only listen to concerts, but we will share rehearsals, music, meditations, dancing and celebration. And food from our rich organic vegetable garden. 

I have now totally dedicated myself to the project "Sonnenlink" and I had the theater and the seminar house renovated, also as a sign of gratitude to all those supporting me. Everything shines with new freshness. Partly new colours, refurnished floors, a new professional sound system at the open air theater and an improved sun-shading  for the time during the day ... 

More space for inner transformation is created.

Dear travelers: from now on there will be flights twice a day from Athens to Kalamata. This can affect your bookings in a more flexible and favorable way.

Inland flights with Aegian Airlines:

From Athens to Kalamata:   9:55 and 15:05 (flight duration: 40 minutes)

From Kalamata to Athens: 11:05 and 16:15

From now on it will be much easier to visit and to offer seminars at the Sonnenhaus! Or just to take a rest and get energy for some days. 

New group-area:
For a yoga-seminar we shaded the theater (removable) and the success was remarkable: suddenly there was the most beautiful group-“room“ - useable all day long (in August!) - with panoramic view and surrounded by the olive trees. Every single session became a great experience: love, joy, safety and boundless view melted us together and inspired us. The group left happy and completely regenerated.

The new piano
did it‘s own job: in the new „piano-house“ well protected, anytime movable into the theater, it enriched our guests stay.
Apart from the fact that our legendary sunset concerts took place under the delightful greek sky.
